Wellington’s pet care is about to level up.
A landmark specialist veterinary hospital is coming to Park Road in Miramar, a major win for local pet owners. The brainchild of Sir Peter Jackson and Dame Fran Walsh, the purpose-built facility will be operated by ARC Vets, one of New Zealand’s leading veterinary providers.
The new hospital will feature state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, 24/7 emergency care and other advanced specialist veterinary services, providing a significant boost to the level of animal care available in Wellington.
Set for completion in mid-2028, the project is an important milestone in Jackson and Walsh’s wider plan to grow Miramar into a vibrant centre for both creative industries and business activity.
