About Us

Urban Outcomes’ people are smart, experienced and have a reputation for delivering exceptional projects.

Company founder and Director Natasha Possenniskie has more than 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, both in New Zealand and abroad, across client, consultant, main contractor and subcontractor roles. This breadth of experience affords Natasha a level of knowledge and insight into the mechanisms of the industry that is rarely seen.

Offering a range of specialties including project recovery, independent Engineer to the Contract, project management and strategic project advice, Natasha is highly skilled at taking a bird’s-eye view of a project and establishing the best way forward to achieve the desired outcomes.

Consultant Barry Possenniskie is a highly experienced project and cost management professional who is widely recognised for his thorough and fair approach to projects. Barry’s breadth and depth of knowledge after more than 50 years’ experience in the construction industry is unparalleled.

Natasha is a highly motivated, results-oriented individual and a proven leader of effective and engaged teams.  She has successfully delivered multiple major critical infrastructure projects both in New Zealand and abroad, across varied senior roles as client, consultant, main contractor and subcontractor. With a successful track record in project implementation and delivery, Natasha specialises in providing independent Engineer to the Contract, project recovery and advisory services on infrastructure projects.

Natasha’s business achievements are built on great relationships, and she prides herself on her ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders of all types and to grow and sustain key customer relationships.

Barry Possenniskie

Barry is a commercially astute construction professional with more than 50 years’ experience in the industry.

He has led the project and financial management of numerous high-profile projects for both public and private sector clients including schools, high-rise office buildings, churches, parishes and housing developments. Barry is also an industry-recognised expert in the delivery and cost management of heritage building restorations.

Barry’s vast experience across all facets of cost estimating has led to his enviable reputation as a thorough and fair quantity surveyor who knows every detail of the financial management of the projects he works on. His impressive service to the construction industry was recognised in 2019 when he was appointed a Life Member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
